Established in 2017, Payel Peace Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization working for underprivileged communities. The Foundation distributes and grants funds to promote education, provide healthcare benefits and humanitarian aid to the less fortunate.
Payel Peace Foundation (PPF) was founded by Alhaj Mr. Syed Farid Ahmed, who was a resident of Dharampur in Burnpur, West Bengal. Mr. Syed Farid Ahmed was a simple, humble, caring, and devoutly religious person, who dedicated his entire life to help people in need.
His vision and mission were simple: To reach out to more and more people, help them in their day-to-day requirements and support them in their hours of crisis.
But after the demise of Mr. Syed Farid Ahmed, his elder son Mr. Syed Imtiaz Ahmed took up the responsibility of Payel Peace Foundation and to accomplish his father’s dream of providing ‘Education, Food and Hygienic living conditions to those in need’, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender as a demonstration of unconditional love for humanity.
Mr. Syed Imtiaz Ahmed is currently the Chairman of the Foundation and is leaving no stone unturned in improving the lives of the underprivileged in society. In addition to providing better education to underprivileged children, it is creating healthy, hygienic and safe living spaces for the poor and needy. Further, it focuses on the welfare of senior citizens and aging adults along with providing financial grants to people suffering from various diseases and are in need of medical treatment.

In addition, Payel Peace Foundation works to address the challenges of children with disabilities at all levels of society by providing financial grants to NGOs, working with differently-abled people along with providing wheelchairs, facilitating better infrastructure facilities for the specially-abled children.

Every year, Payel Peace Foundation also distributes sarees to the less fortunate during Durga Puja, Chhath Puja, Eid, Diwali, and other festivals, so that they celebrate festivals with great pomp.
Payel Peace Foundation also provide “financial help to the less fortunate families to marry off their daughters and sisters.”
Payel Peace Foundation celebrates World Environment Day on 5th of June every year. Payel Peace Foundation organises activities like tree planting, theme related painting based on beach cleaning, climate change, environmental issues. It also organises lectures for raising awareness on Air Pollution, Plastic Pollution, Annual food wastage and losses, and ways to fight global warming.
